HAYATE OTSU V2, the flagship model from ARTISAN, is a balanced-speed model that exhibits a fast yet precise feeling as you glide across it. It's good for a variety of different types of aiming because of its fast glide and moderate stopping power.
This is the latest V2 model, an improved version of the original V1.
What's changed?
V2 offers a more stable glide, especially in low humidity environments. Static electricity, often an unnoticed obstacle, can hinder glide and gameplay in dry conditions. The new conductive threads significantly reduce static buildup on the surface. These same threads are also used in the Key-83 mousepads.
Does the glide change?
In most cases, the glide will remain the same. However, you might experience a faster and smoother glide if you play in a very low humidity environment. The blind tests showed that most testers couldn't distinguish between V1 and V2 in humidity levels of 40%-60%.
