Quick Swap Base System(QSBS) is a custom part that allows you to easily swap out the bottom plate of the GPX SL2.
By preparing multiple insert plates fitted with your preferred mouse skates, you can quickly switch between different setups to match your game title or mousepad surface.

How it works

  • QSBS consists of two components: a socket base and an insert plate. First, remove the original bottom plate of the GPX SL2 and install the socket base. Once installed, you’ll be able to freely insert and remove the swappable insert plates.
  • Two types of insert plates are available: Type A (standard, 6g) and Type B (lightweight, hollowed-out design, 3g).
  • An optional set of 5 screws is available if you wish to secure the insert plate more firmly to the socket base. Using screws is optional.

Component Details

  • Socket Base: The part that mounts to the mouse body — 5g
  • Insert Plate (Type A): The standard swappable plate — 6g
  • Insert Plate (Type B): Lightweight swappable plate with cutouts — 3g
  • Mounting Screws: Optional, for those concerned about inserts coming loose
Reference: Stock bottom plate (Logitech original) is approx. 10g (8g base + 1.7g cover + 0.6g magnets)

Installation Instructions

We recommend enabling English subtitles.

  • Step 1: Prepare a #0 cross-head screwdriver
  • Step 2: Remove the original bottom plate of the GPX SL2. Then detach the circuit board from the removed plate (be sure to disconnect the magnet terminals).
  • Step 3: Mount the circuit board onto the socket base.
  • Step 4: Attach the socket base to the mouse body. Do not overtighten - gently turn the screws until they stop.

If there is any wobble after installation, loosen the screws and re-tighten gently, as overtightening or uneven tension may distort the mouse shell.
