ARTISAN FX HAYATE OTSU – Version 2 Now Available
The ARTISAN FX HAYATE OTSU V2 is a balanced-speed mousepad that offers a fast yet precise glide. With moderate stopping power, it performs well across various aiming styles—ideal for both flicks and tracking.
What’s Changed?
The V2 introduces a subtle but important upgrade: a more stable glide in low humidity environments.
In dry conditions, static electricity can build up on the surface and interfere with glide consistency. The new version solves this by adding conductive threads to the surface, which help reduce static buildup. This same material is also used in ARTISAN’s Key-83 mousepads.
Does the Glide Change?
For most users, the glide will feel the same.In typical humidity (40%–60%), blind tests showed no noticeable difference between V1 and V2. However, if you play in very low humidity, you may notice a slightly faster and smoother glide thanks to reduced static interference.
